Sometime last summer a friend and I spent awhile scheming about building tree houses and creating some sort of living community on my property here. But, as it goes, time passes and nothing happens. Until…it does.
Our plans right now are small. We’re currently designing a cob home to be built in my back yard this summer. We’ll see where we go from there, but the grand vision is that we’ll keep the momentum up, building more homes after that for various people who become part of the collective. Who knows…maybe one day we’ll just up and rip my roof off and replace it with a living one. Wouldn’t that be rad?
