Languages

My spanish is improving RAPIDLY. This is pretty fortunate considering that when I arrived I was completely lost. I thought it was nearly impossible that I would ever begin to understand local speakers. Fortunately thanks to people´s extreme patience and kindness, I´ve learned a LOT and am mostly able to understand people two days later. Talking is a bit more difficult, and though I know I sound absolutely ridiculous, I can communicate fine and that´s what´s important. I spoke in English with some girls at Casa Ulia last night for the first time in 3 days. It was stange to speak so freely again.
