someday, when it’s not solo, i want to do this.  now that’s a lifestyle!  granted, i want there to be more to it than to camp just to camp.  i’d just like to live in a tent while i’m working the same job i might have if i were living in between planes of metal wood and plaster.

i was thinking last night, you know how trees grow together if they’re close to one another?  how cool would it be to plant trees in a great big square and when they get big enough, they’d bind together and make walls for a house!!  logistically, my plan is lacking in one, two, or maybe 73 ways, but i’ll figure it out as i go.  after all, it’s going to be a slow process…

(i just google “house made from trees”, knowing someone must have tried this before.  it’s not exactly what i was thinking, but it’s close.)

Ralph, funny you talk about housing…here is a link to Camp Africa where we stayed one night during a retreat that my team did for the a group of people, Life-Skills Educators, who teach life skills in public schools and do Kids clubs in the different townships around Cape Town in which they live. It was a time of building them up, encouraging them, and filling them with God’s Word. Anyways, here is the link
It was pretty cool but the beds were really small…
