egguinox

today’s the spring equinox – the time when the sun is directly over the earth’s equator.  (which, for those of us in the US, basically means that winter is over and spring has sprung.  can i get a hallelujah?)  You could celebrate with a classic: stand an egg on end.  granted, you could actually do that any day of the year…but i don’t wanna spoil your fun.  or if you want a bigger challenge and you love numbers, you could check into this theory that on the equinoxes there are two specific places on earth where there’s zero velocity as compared to the galaxy itself and because of that, objects move on their own.  yeah, it went right over my head, too.
