i’m no doctor

ok, i’m not claiming any kind of supreme authority here, but this is something i’ve been reading/learning a lot about lately and i wanted to share it.  it’s always so interesting to me that things happen in clumps.  i started reading about this never having heard about it and when i started talking to people it seems that quite a few people i know have looked into it in the last year -or- the best: one of my friends is actually currently ON a candida cleanse.  ridiculous. i love ‘coincidence’.

i have a deep-rooted issue with systemic medical problems.  when it’s something body-wide medicine can’t seem to explain the cause or the cure for, i think these are the times that natural medicine can be so beneficial.  really, in my opinion our bodies were designed to heal themselves if given the proper tools (proper diet, activity, emotional/spiritual health, etc…) but it’s often difficult to live so well all times.  but when it comes to chronic issues i think there must be something underneath it all that’s actually causing the condition.  not always, but often.

rather than trying to explain something i’m just recently discovering myself, i’ll just do a littel cut and paste action and let you do some discovery of your own:

Candida yeast symptoms can and do vary from person to person.  These symptoms may vary based on the weaknesses in your particular genetic setup. This may be part of the reason that there are so many different categories and types of yeast symptoms. It is estimated that 80-90% of the population suffers from some sort of systemic yeast infection; but, they have become accustomed to the symptoms and just accept them as part of their daily lives.   Most people have never heard of candida or systemic yeast infection.

and for those of you who are like me and want a better indicator of whether you might have this crazy weird thing called candida overgrowth:

Read this whole link if it works. The last posting seems to make most sense. I messaged the girl who posted it, she was rather helpful.
