a trip to the park today included a lovely hike around a lake…chased back to the truck by a building thunderstorm…picking up hitch hikers in the truckbed…getting hailed on with them still in the back (the first time i’ve ever wished i had an SUV instead of a truck. they were in great spirits, though)…a gorgeous view after the storm cleared…and chancing upon a monster elk bugling to the others nearby

.            -hail near 12,000 ft-                       -long’s peak as the storm cleared-
