Every day at dusk the Canadian Space Agency began streaming on Monday: a live feed of the auroral activity observed in Yellowknife, Northwest Territories.  I just found it this morning, so I haven’t watched yet, but I’m pretty darn excited. The sun’s activity ebbs and flows in an 11 year cycle and it’s most active period peaks in 2013 and will consequently produce the most auroras. You bet I’m going to be somewhere near the arctic circle that spring.
