well, it’s official. i’m under contract on my first house. this is terrifying and exhilarating all at once.

and for those of you, like me 6 months ago, who might not know the real-estate terminology, this doesn’t mean i’m a homeowner quite yet. it means i’ve signed a contract with the seller for a certain price and conditions for inspecting the property with the intent of buying. there’s still a long road ahead of us, but if all goes well, i might be a homeowner by january 26. (then again, i could find out it’s slowly crumbling into the creek, but that’s what engineers are for, right?)

this feels completely insane. i’m definitely in over my head, but i feel like i’m quickly learning how to at least tread water.

Hold the phone here… Didn’t the owners accept some other offer on this one? Or did that fall through…? I was excited about this house last time is why I ask 🙂 Was excited to see it was the same one unless I’m missing something.
